In a rare villainous role, Chan stars as the "immortal" Hua-Wa Bin, an all-powerful nobleman who believes his own wife has poisoned him. To kill his wife and find the elusive antidote in time, Hua hires his adversary "Killer Meteor" Mei-Hsin-Ho (Wang Yu), a rogue warrior known for his mastery of deadly explosive projectiles.
There is one small problem: Hua-Wa's deceitful wife is guarded by a ruthless gang of the world's greatest fighters, armed with high tech weaponry including a "pulverizing drug," which melts men into puddles like vampires exposed to sunlight.
To save his own life, Hua-Wa leaps into battle, armed with his own brand of signature stunts and stunning fight choreography. Pitting friend against foe, who will win this fierce fight to the death?
DVD Notes: the two editions of this film I own are the Columbia version and the Simitar Platinum Series version. There is very little difference between the two. Both versions are full-screen (with the credits running letterboxed), both have Mandarin dialogue (though for some reason the Simitar version says Cantonese which is wrong), both have the same dubbed version and both have the same running time (104m). The Columbia version does have English subtitles though, which I used for this recode.
