Plot: In het derde seizoen zetten The Flintstones hun onstuitbare opmars met rotsvaste overtuiging voort. Naast de onvoorwaardelijke fans wist de reeks eindelijk ook de pers over de streep te trekken. Die had de "cartoon show" in het eerste seizoen immers een beetje met de nek aangekeken. Tal van afleveringen parodieerden de culturele hypes uit die periode: The Twitch stak de dinosaurus met de Twist-gekte, Hawaiian Escapade verkaste de serie Hawaiian Eye naar het Stenen Tijdperk en Dial "S" for Suspicion was een hilarische variant op het plot van Dial M for Murder. Maar de bekendste aflevering is ongetwijfeld Dress Rehearsal, met de geboorte van Pebbles, toentertijd een gebeurtenis waar het hele land naar uitkeek. 28 klassieke afleveringen en talloze fantastische extra's, gebundeld in een 5-delige luxe-box, het zou Fred en Barney ongetwijfeld een welgemeend Yabbadabbadoo hebben ontlokt!

This popular animated television cartoon featured two Stone Age families, the Flintstones and their neighbors, the Rubbles. Much of the humor was based on its comic portrayals of modern conveniences, reinterpreted using Stone Age 'technology.' Most notably were their cars, complete with absence of floorboards to allow them to be 'foot-powered.'
