SQUID GIRLS 18+ It has been an absolute joy to play through. We each decided to voice the character we played (and we are all guys, which made most of it that little bit funnier), the dialogue is witty and charming, the art style is pretty in it’s own pixel-y way, with some lovely pieces of art thrown in for good measure. There’s even a wonderful sense of worldbuilding and lore, which I’ll talk a little more about later. The music was damn fitting and, dare I say, just another part of what I can only describe as this Indie Masterpiece. It’s damn responsive,

lemme tell ya. It took us all a bit of time to get to grips with it, but when it clicks, it clicks hard. For people who dislike being pushed to the breaking point in terms of difficulty, FMF has you covered with it’s (Easy) Story Mode. You like pain and crying? Well, 100% the game and play on New Game+ you absolute masochist. Don’t have friends? Well, maybe get some (or don’t, I’m not your Dad), but until then the single-player mode offers it’s own unique challenges which keeps gameplay fresh. Do you like brainless violence? There’s a wonderful amount of hitting and shooting things here.

If you don’t, then I suppose you can just look up locations and answers… I guess. If you DO like to exercise that lump of pink squidgy stuff in the middle of your head, Full Metal Furies is gonna rock your world. You know how in a bunch of modern games, there’s 7 million random collectibles and tiny pieces of text that never make any sense or expand the world/lore in any significant manner and literally no-one cares about them but good lord you need that 100% achievement so you get to “enjoy” the extra tedium? FMF doesn’t do that. It respects your time. You wanna just play through and not spend time searching for secrets and solving riddles, puzzles,
