Rosie e Alex sono migliori amici dall'età di 5 anni. Crescono sognando di viaggiare per il mondo e di lasciare la piccola cittadina in cui vivono per trasferirsi in America e frequentare insieme l'università. Nella realtà, quando si tratta di amore, vita e di fare le scelte giuste, i due ragazzi sono però i peggior nemici di loro stessi. Tra un imprevisto e un'opportunità mancata, il destino li spinge inesorabilmente in direzioni opposte, lontani l'una dall’altro. Solo una continua corrispondenza, fatta prima di lettere, poi di mail e sms, riesce a preservare il loro speciale legame. Ma può un'amicizia resistere al passare degli anni, alla distanza e a una serie infinita di relazioni disastrose, specialmente quando si capisce che forse è qualcosa di più?

Rosie and Alex are best friends since the age of five years. They grow up dreaming of traveling the world and leave the small town in which they live and move to America together and attend college. In fact, when it comes to love, life and make the right choices, the two boys, however, are the worst enemies of themselves. Among the unexpected and a missed opportunity, fate leads them inexorably in opposite directions, away from each other. Only a continuous correspondence, made before the letters, then mail and text messages, manage to preserve their special bond.
