Proseguono le (dis)avventure di Daniel Holden, il protagonista di Rectify. Nel finale della seconda stagione è successo qualcosa di impensabile. Terrorizzato all’idea della riapertura delle indagini e da un nuovo processo che potrebbe rimandarlo in prigione, Daniel decide di accettare la proposta della procuratrice Sondra Person: dichiararsi colpevole e accettare di andare in “esilio” definitivo. Non potrà più mettere più piede non solo a Paulie, ma in tutto lo stato della Georgia. Ritroviamo Holden in attesa di dover dire addio alla sua famiglia, e in attesa di scoprire il suo futuro. Intanto Trey Willis trama nell’ombra: cosa nasconderà? Sapremo mai la verità riguardo quella maledetta notte?
