Nagarahavu is about a lady changing into a snake to look for exact retribution. The film begins with a flashback character called Naganika (Ramya) who is a major identity in her city. She and her progenitors have been sparing an antiquated landmark since many years. Abhorrent Tantrik Kapali (Rajesh Vivek) and his progenitors have been battling with Naganika`s family since numerous years to involve this Lord Shiva Monument. Kapali (Rajesh Vivek) murders Naganika (Ramya) and involves the Lord Shiva landmark. While kicking the bucket Naganika (Ramya) guarantees that she will return to render retribution on Kapali (Rajesh Vivek). In the following birth, Naganika (Ramya) takes birth as Manasa, a snake lady to render retribution.
