Morrowind remastered december 2021 (portable version)

Morrowind running OpenMW 0.47 stable in portable package with mods making it a Total Overhaul,

TLDR:
1. extract 7z archive (with 7-zip or alternative)
2. Run Install or make_install.bat
3. Set installation path and wait for install to finish
4. Double click openmw.exe in the selected path

Morrowind remastered December 2021

Install.lnk will start installation process (alternatively you can run make_install.bat
which will do the same).

repair_config.bat will recreate original config file and load order in case something
got changed during gameplay.

This release can be portable, it is possible to point your installation to USB drive.
then when you insert that drive into new Windows PC, you need to run
set_portable_instance.bat to create neccesary links.

Now my comments:

I tested this installer and it worked for me. I haven’t enough time these days to properly
test a game of this scale, but I was able to start the game, teleport to several locations
and everything seems to work. There is about 360 mods involved in this release so expect
bugs. OP stated that it is basically "Total Overhaul" package from modding-openmw.com

Treat this game as a REMAKE, many mechanics/things are different AFAIK and I can se
differences between this package and original vanilla MW.

Performance
This package is very performance-heavy. I tested with core i5-2500k and RX580 4GB and I can
tell that 4GB video memory is not always enough. New builds with reasonable specs (4+ core
CPU from last 4 years and GeForce 1070+ or AMD equivalent with 8 GB memory will be okay).
Installed game has roughly 22 GB so plan to that accordingly.
