Lilli e il vagabondo (Lady and the Tramp) è un film d'animazione del 1955 diretto da Clyde Geronimi, Wilfred Jackson e Hamilton Luske ed è considerato il 15° classico Disney secondo il canone ufficiale.

1909. In occasione del Natale, il giovane Gianni regala alla sua giovane moglie Lisa (da lui chiamata "Tesoro" e chiamato a sua volta "Gianni caro" da lei)
una cucciola di Cocker Spaniel (razza confermata dalla voce fuori campo quando Lilli viene riportata a casa dal canile) che decidono di chiamare Lilli.
In breve tempo la cagnolina diventa la regina della casa e quando compie sei mesi, i suoi padroni le regalano il collare con la medaglietta.
Subito, Lilli corre dai suoi due vecchi amici per farsi ammirare.
Il primo, Whisky, è un terrier scozzese un po' burbero ma molto distinto,
mentre il secondo, Fido, è un Bloodhound molto educato che in gioventù era stato un famoso cane poliziotto dal fiuto eccezionale, ma che ora, con la vecchiaia, secondo molti, sembra aver perso l'olfatto.
Improvvisamente, però, sembra che Tesoro e Gianni caro abbandonino e trascurino Lilli e non le diano più le attenzioni di prima.
Così, un giorno, Lilli, confida tutto questo ai suoi amici e loro gliene spiegano il motivo: Tesoro sta aspettando un bambino.
Mentre i tre parlano, si unisce a loro Biagio, un cane Schnauzer medio vagabondo, che, passando di lì per caso, ascolta le terribili disavventure che sono capitate a Lilli nell'ultimo periodo, predicendole a sua volta un futuro non tanto migliore.
Whisky e Fido lo zittiscono e lo cacciano infuriati per non rattristare ancora di più Lilli, che non vuole credere alle parole di quello strano individuo e gli gira le spalle sdegnata...


Lady and the Tramp is a 1955 American animated film produced by Walt Disney and released to theaters on June 22, 1955, by Buena Vista Distribution.
The 15th animated film in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series, it was the first animated feature filmed in the CinemaScope widescreen film process.

On Christmas morning 1909, Jim Dear gives his wife Darling a cocker spaniel puppy that they name Lady.
Lady enjoys a happy life with the couple and with a pair of dogs from the neighborhood, a Scottish Terrier named Jock and a bloodhound named Trusty.
Meanwhile, across town by the railway, a stray mutt, referred to as The Tramp, lives life from moment to moment,
be it begging for scraps from the local Italian restaurant or protecting his fellow strays Peg (a Lhasa Apso) and Bull (an English bulldog) from the local dog catcher.
Later, Lady is saddened after Jim Dear and Darling begin treating her rather coldly.
Jock and Trusty visit her, and determine that the change in behavior is due to Darling expecting a baby.
While Jock and Trusty try to explain what a baby is, Tramp offers his own thoughts on the matter.
Jock and Trusty take an immediate dislike to the stray and order him out of the yard.
As Tramp leaves, he reminds Lady that "when the baby moves in, the dog moves out"...
