Appetite for Destruction è il primo album in studio della rock band statunitense Guns N' Roses, pubblicato il 21 luglio 1987 dalla Geffen Records.

È considerato uno degli album più importanti della storia del rock, nonché uno dei più venduti di tutti i tempi: ha venduto 35 milioni di copie in tutto il mondo, di cui 18 nei soli Stati Uniti d'America. Ad oggi è il disco di maggior successo del gruppo, nonché uno degli album di debutto dal maggior successo di sempre.

L'album è presente nella classifica di Rolling Stone dei 500 migliori album di tutti i tempi, alla posizione numero 62.

L'album fu uno dei primi a lanciare il genere sleaze metal, una variante indurita dell'hair/pop metal; tutt'oggi i Guns N' Roses sono annoverati tra gli esponenti più importanti di questo genere, assieme a Faster Pussycat, L.A. Guns e Dangerous Toys.
