A Golden Crown Episode 6

While King Robert goes hunting, Ned has to deal with new problems. At the Eyrie, Tyrion faces judgment for his crimes. At Winterfell, Bran goes riding for the first time since his fall. In Vaes Dothrak, Viserys finally gets his payment for giving his sister's hand in marriage to Khal Drogo.

You Win or You Die Episode 7

Ned and Cersei have a meeting about Jon Arryn's death. Jon Snow takes his vows to become a man of the Night's Watch. Khal Drogo has an abrupt change of mind after an assassination attempt on Daenerys. King Robert is severely injured by a boar and must make decisions on the future of his kingdom.

The Pointy End Episode 8

In the aftermath of Neds capture, Lannister guards go after Stark people and Arya tries to flee while Cersei uses Sansa to further her own plans. Robb calls in his fathers banners to start a war with the Lannisters. Tyrion reunites with his father after making his pact with the hill tribes. Jon attacks Ser Alliser and has to save the Lord Commander's life. Dany has problems accepting the Dothraki way of warfare after they raid a peaceful village on their way to the sea.

Baelor Episode 9

Ned has to make a fateful decision to save Sansas life. Cat has to deal with Lord Walder Frey, her father's unruly bannerman, in order for Robb's forces to be able to cross a river. Tyrion gets a mistress and is forced to fight in the vanguard. Robb captures a valuable prisoner after winning his first battle. Jon's esteem rises in the Night's Watch after his heroics and he discovers Maester Aemon's secret. Dany trusts the captured witch Mirri Maz Duur to heal Drogo's festering wound against the other Dothraki's misgivings about the witch.

Fire and Blood Episode 10

Bran and Rickon have the same dream while news spreads across the Seven Kingdoms about Ned's fate. Cat questions Jaime about Bran's fall while a new king arises in the North. Tyrion is stunned with his father's sudden decision to accept him as a true son. Arya has to hide her identity to escape King's Landing while Joffrey shows his true colors to Sansa. At the Wall, Jon faces a decision between loyalty to his old family and loyalty to the Night's Watch. Across the sea, Dany finds a new hope after paying a terrible price.
