It's been a little over twenty-four hours since Dale met Alice Collins. Somewhere along that time, he found himself in Wonderland and ate a mushroom he shouldn't have. Now he's beginning to throw up leaves and spout twigs where they shouldn't be. His eyes start glowing red. His voice lowers to new depths. His fingers become pointed and cruel. And unfortunately for his fellow passengers, he develops a craving for human flesh.

Those traveling alongside him include the shy Austen girl Jane, his traumatized friend Daisy, Wonderland knight Jack, and the aforementioned Alice, along with her mother Molly. As Dale explores the Greek Underworld caverns, he discovers Alice's pregnant friend Juliet and about a dozen more things about his friend he wishes he didn't know.

For his fellow passengers, it's not a matter of traveling with Dale, it's a matter of surviving him.
