Evan Lake, een aan kantoor gebonden CIA-agent, wordt gedwongen om met vervroegd pensioen te gaan wanneer hij tekenen van dementie begint te krijgen. Tegelijkertijd ontdekt hij dat de jihadist Muhhamed Banir niet dood is, zoals twee decennia lang is gedacht. Hij blijkt nog te leven en ondergaat een experimentele medische behandeling. Banir zijn precieze locatie is echter niet bekend.

Storyline

Veteran CIA agent Evan Lake has been ordered to retire. But when his protégé uncovers evidence that Lake's nemesis, the terrorist Banir, has resurfaced, Lake goes rogue, embarking on a perilous, intercontinental mission to eliminate his sworn enemy.
