In this class, we will be turning a sketch into an animated illustration using the pen tool and masks in After Effects. The pen tool can be used to create illustrations. Masks can be used to cover selected parts and then animated to reveal what's underneath. Together you can use the pen tool along with masks to create interesting transitions that can add some fun movement to any illustration!

Scan your sketches
Create a digital illustration of your sketch using the pen tool in Adobe After Effects
Add some life to your design with animated effects and textures
