Young Guns - Young Guns is a 1988 film directed by Christopher Cain and written by John Fusco.

The protagonists of the film are Emilio Estevez, Kiefer Sutherland, Lou Diamond Phillips, Charlie Sheen, Dermot Mulroney, and Casey Siemaszko. Young Guns is a reinterpretation of the adventures of Billy the Kid (played by Estevez). The film was shot in Los Cerrillos in New Mexico and is one of the few major westerns made in the 1980s such as Silverado (1985) and Heaven's Gate (1980).

In 1990, a sequel to this film was shot, entitled Young Guns II - The Legend of Billy the Kid.
