Plot Summary
When the first manned flight to Mars is deemed unsafe and scrubbed on the launch pad, anxious authorities must scramble to save face and retain their funding - and so an unthinkable plot to fake the mission is hatched.

Encoded with a modified slow 2-Pass @ 7,300 kb/s, includes a commentary track. This is the recently recovered extended version of the film which is how the movie was originally screened in Japanese theaters. The color grading is a bit different from the US theatrical release and has some more scratches on the film stock but also has a different commentary track from the US release. No extras with this one, extras for the set were included with the US theatrical cut.
