Description:
BluffTitler DX9 - a program to create beautiful 3D text effects and animations a simple, applicable to the installation video.
The result can be viewed in real time, to export the image or video format. All animation is created consisting of layers that can be modified independently.
BluffTitler supports many different types of layers: a camera, light, text, image, video, plasma, particle, audio, etc.
Layers can be linked together to create special effects.
The program can be used in conjunction with such packages as: Pinnacle Studio, Sony Vegas, Ulead VideoStudio, MAGIX video deLuxe, Canopus Edius and Adobe Premiere.
Of course, even in the most simple video editor is usually possible to create titles, however, BluffTitler DX9 do them easier and clearer. First, the titles are displayed in real time, and wait to be figured out or that the effect is not necessary. Second, the program has a lot of pieces that can be used as a starting point for creating your own projects. The quality of display effects depends on the capabilities of videokarty.V assembly includes additional projects, textures, effects, models, vector objects.

Update DirectX:
BluffTitler requires DirectX 9 version June 2007 or later.
Working with the program:
BluffTitler DX9 is not an ordinary interface, and so at first it seems awkward, but in practice it is very convenient. While the appearance of other programs, usually represented by a single window, divided into the workspace and toolbars in BluffTitler DX9 you can see two windows - in first visualized the effects, the second is for their settings. This approach is convenient because the preview window title can be deployed on the entire screen, a window with the settings to put in any convenient location.
The first thing to do - is to specify the duration of the project and select the resolution. This can be done using the appropriate commands to the menu File. When you work with video resolution always plays a big role. When you insert a caption in the video editor main project in the animation should be the same size as the other project files, otherwise the video will have to re-apply compression, which would entail the loss of quality. Resolution can be set manually by specifying the number of pixels across the width and height, but it is better to use the proposed resolution for the program preset formats Pal, NTSC, HDTV, etc.
The animation program created by the layers, so that there are associations with a graphic, not the video editor. In one project, you can use up to 64 layers, which is more than enough to create even a very long and stuffed with the effects of titles.
There are a total of 12 types of layers that can be added to the project by choosing Layer:
• Light - a layer that allows you to set the lighting project. The program provides an opportunity to choose between two types of lighting - Ambient Light and Point Light. First a simple and allows you to customize the color of very light, but with the help of Point Light, you can choose the intensity and position of light source, to determine the presence of shadows.
• Text - the layer is designed to add text. Since the creation of titles is the main purpose of the program, we can say that this layer - the main one. For the text of an endless number of parameters, including type size, transparency, twisting, changing position, size, distance between letters.
• EPS - this layer makes it possible to add to the project sites in vector format EPS, such as arrows, geometric shapes, etc.
• Picture - add a layer to the background image. Supported formats include BMP, JPG, PNG, TGA, etc. This layer is available for many parameters, such as changing the transparency, repeatability, texture, rotation, resizing.
• Video - reminiscent of the previous layer and is designed to add background video. Supported file types ASF, AVI, MPG, MPEG, VOB, QT and WMV.
• Video Capture - a layer that allows to include a video, captured from an external source.
• Plasma and Particle - with the help of these layers can be added in the credits-made versions of animations with particles and light effects. This may be an image reminiscent of interference on the TV screen, fireworks, falling snowflakes, fountain, etc. Interestingly, these two layers can be used not only as a background, but also for the design of other layers. For example, if you add one to the text, the animation effects will occur in or around the letters. Thus, it is possible, for example, to create a flaming text. To add a layer or Plasma Particle to another layer, use the command Attach from the menu Layer.
• Model - Layer provides an interesting opportunity to add to the project three-dimensional models. The program supports a single format. X. Files in this format can be obtained, for example, running the export of 3D-models from 3ds Max. To do this we first need to install the free plug-in Panda DirectX Exporter. The plugin is only available for 3ds Max versions 6-8.
• Scroll - the layer to create a text that moves across the screen at different speeds and in different directions.
• Audio - with the help of this layer to your project, you can add musical accompaniment. Supported formats include MP3, WAV and MID.
• Passe-Partout - a layer that creates the framework of different forms within which there is animation effects.
Almost every option available in the settings of layers can be animated. The program uses animation keyframes. This means that the user needs to specify the effect of the first and last frames, and all the intermediate frames, they will be selected automatically.
Key frames are displayed on the scale of the animation in the form of blue markers. Previously created key frames can be moved, thereby establishing the duration of an effect. For example, if a text layer animated rotation parameter, the smaller the distance between key frames, the faster the text will rotate.
All the above applies to the parameters of other layers. For example, using key frames can be set to change in light intensity, the gradual disappearance of the background image (you need to animate the transparency setting), etc. To make it easier to navigate the many layers of settings, the program adds the name of the next parameter that was changed by the user, the + icon.
The finished project can be exported to an AVI file with or without compression. You can also specify the presence of an alpha channel transparency. You can also save the video as a sequence of files in a format Targa, with an alpha channel or not.
What's new
Version 8.5.0.1
Released: Friday, August 3rd, 2012
Free upgrade from version 8.0 or higher. Consult the release notes for version 8.0 for the upgrade details from versions older than 8.0
Changes since 8.0:
Multiple viewports!!!
When you add a camera layer with the new menu item Layer> Add Layer> Add Camera Layer ... a viewport is added. Every viewport has its own camera layer with its own settings and keyframe animation.
Full audio support!!!
BluffTitler now exports the audio streams of your video textures and audio layers. This way you no longer have to add audio tracks in your NLE and your audio and video is perfectly synchronized!
