Blacklight , film diretto da Mark Williams, racconta la storia di Travis Block (Liam Neeson), un agente dell'FBI in pensione. Ora che non è più in servizio, l'uomo è incaricato di aiutare gli agenti sotto copertura, quando questi si ritrovano in situazioni scomode o qualora la loro identità fittizia venga a galla.
Quando si ritrova a tirare fuori dai guai l'agente Dusty, Travis fa una scioccante scoperta, che metterà a dura prova il suo codice morale: l'agente viene a conoscenza di una fatale cospirazione all'interno dei suoi ranghi, che coinvolge anche i più alti livelli di grado. La scoperta riguarda l'Operation Unity, un programma nel cui mirino finiscono alcuni semplici cittadini per motivi ignoti, ma di cui è a conoscenza il suo stesso superiore. Per scoprire cosa si celi dietro, Block chiede aiuto a un giornalista, ma le sue indagini metteranno in pericolo la vita di sua figlia e sua nipote...
