Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome speelt zich af in het
tiende jaar van de eerste Cylon-oorlog, dewelke op dat
moment woedt doorheen de 12 menselijke kolonies. We volgen
de jonge Viper-piloot William “Husker” Adama (Luke Pasqualino),
wanneer hij voor het eerst toetreedt tot de Galactica,
het nieuwe Battlestar-schip waar hij jaren later uiteindelijk
commandant van zal worden. Adama, vers uit de vliegacademie,
is nog jong en roekeloos en treedt hierdoor meer dan eens in
conflict met zijn oudere officier, Coker Fasjovik (Ben Cotton).
Wat een gezamenlijke routinemissie had moeten zijn, verandert
echter al snel in een heuse nachtmerrie met gevolgen voor de
hele vloot
