Barbara Kessler-Notion (1996) Folky vocalist

I have had this CD for at least 15 years, and I keep coming back to it from time to time, and always with a sense of returning to music I've been missing for too long. This was my introduction to her music, and I subsequently bought Stranger to This Land, which I liked less. I see she has a new CD out now, but I haven't heard it yet, and it has been an awfully long time between releases. This CD is a wonderfully produced singer/songwriter at the top of her form, writing about life's twists and turns with honesty and a sense of perspective that at times can leave you breathless. I don't know where she's been, but if you want an introduction to her music, buy this first. I promise you won't be sorry.(Amazon review)
